1. Andhum as a marketplace

andhum operates a multi vendor marketplace. Products listed on the Marketplace are offered for sale by independent vendors ("Vendors") through their own branded storefronts, not by andhum itself, unless expressly stated otherwise. andhum facilitates discovery, checkout, payment collection and delivery coordination, but each Vendor is solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, safety and lawfulness of the Products it lists.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login details secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account or place an order.

3. Products and listings

Product descriptions, images, pricing and availability are provided by Vendors and are subject to change without notice. andhum takes reasonable steps to review listings before they go live, but does not independently verify every claim made by a Vendor about its Products. Colours, sizing and finish may vary slightly from what is shown online.

4. Orders, pricing and payment

All prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. A delivery fee applies as shown at checkout. andhum accepts the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include card payments, bank transfer and cash on delivery. An order is confirmed once payment is authorised, or, for cash on delivery orders, once the order is accepted. andhum reserves the right to cancel or decline an order where a listing contains a pricing or stock error, with a full refund where payment has already been collected.

5. Delivery

Orders are delivered islandwide through andhum’s courier partners. Delivery timelines shown at checkout or in your account are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in a Product passes to you on delivery.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Returns, refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with our Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please refer to the Returns Policy for eligibility, timelines and the process for raising a return or an issue with an order.

7. Promotions and coupons

From time to time, andhum or individual Vendors may offer discounts, coupons or promotional pricing. Promotions are subject to their own stated terms, may be withdrawn or amended at any time, and cannot usually be combined unless stated.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Marketplace for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage, disable or impair it;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or data on the Marketplace;
• post or transmit false, misleading, defamatory or infringing content, including in a review; or
• use automated means to scrape, copy or resell content or listings from the Marketplace without our written permission.

9. Intellectual property

The andhum name, logo and the design of the Marketplace belong to Andhum.com (Pvt) Ltd. Product names, images and brand assets belong to the respective Vendor. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

10. Reviews and user content

If you submit a review, photo or other content, you grant andhum a non exclusive, royalty free licence to display and use that content on the Marketplace and in related marketing, and you confirm that the content is genuinely your own and does not infringe any third party’s rights.

11. Third party links

The Marketplace may contain links to third party websites or services that are not operated by andhum. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party site.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, andhum’s liability to you in connection with the Marketplace is limited to the value of the relevant order. andhum is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and is not liable for the acts or omissions of an independent Vendor, except to the extent required by applicable consumer protection law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify andhum against any loss, claim or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Marketplace.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Marketplace or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Marketplace after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
